Active Directory
A {directory service} from {Microsoft
Corporation}, similar in concept to {Novell} {Netware
Directory Services (NDS)}, that also integrates with the user
organisation's {DNS} structure and is interoperable with
{LDAP}. Active Directory is included in {Windows 2000}.
